    Today is officially the first day of fall. You know what that means… pumpkin everything, fall décor, fall festivals, pumpkin patches, cooler temperatures, changing leaves, and so many fun fall activities. Check out what fall activities are headed our way.

    Annual Fiesta Peoria, Sept 24
    Enjoy the rich Hispanic heritage, history and culture of Mexico and Latin America. September is the month many of the Latin American countries gained their independence, and Peoria will be the place to bring the family for music, fun, food and more to celebrate. Along with music, attendees can also experience arts and craft vendors; a delicious variety of foods, beer and margaritas; a rock wall and the kids zone, featuring a water zone, inflatables, carnival rides and more, $5-10, 2 p.m.-10:30 pm.

    12th Annual Oktoberfest for Parkinson’s Fundraiser, Oct 8
    A block party celebration at High Street Phoenix will include lots of brats, live music, authentic Oktoberfest games, plenty of craft ales, a selection of fine wines, spectacular raffle prizes and a whole lot of fun to help make a difference for a good cause.
